IRS Standard Mileage Increase 2025
In IRS Issue Number IR-2024-312, the standard mileage rate increased for 2025. Automobiles driven for business purposes now have an optional mileage reimbursement rate of $0.70 per mile, marking an increase of 3 cents per mile.
Automobiles operated for other purposes also have standard mileage rates, although they were not changed in 2025.
