Under Hawaii SB 1057 / Act 203, job listings will be required to include an hourly rate or salary range. This Act prohibits employers from discriminating between employees because of any protected category established under state law by paying wages to employees in an establishment at a rate less than the rate at which the employer pays wages to other employees for:
- Significantly similar work on jobs that require equal effort, skill, and responsibility, and
- Jobs performed under similar work conditions.
