New W4 for 2019
Draft 2019 form W4
The internal Revenue Service released a draft Form W-4, Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate, for 2019 on June 6,2019. It is important to note that there are numerous fundamental changes to the 2019 form W4 that may require extra education and understanding prior to completion. The IRS continues to advise individuals to do a Paycheck Checkup using the IRS Calculator. Do not begin using the 2019 Form W4 until January 1,2019. At this time, it will not be required for all individuals to complete a new 2019 Form W4 but it is highly recommended.
