New W-4 Form Postponed
The Treasury Department announced that the IRS will implement a redesigned W-4 form for tax year 2020, a timeline that will allow for continued work to refine the new approach for the form.
ACA Penalty Notices
The IRS continues to mail Penalty notices. Employers should be on the lookout for the final 3,000 notices issued for 2015. Notices for tax year 2016 are scheduled to start by September 30th with tax year 2017 tentatively scheduled for March, 2019.
These notices have a very short response window.
